Sui-GREE-partnership

Japan's media titan GREE has teamed up with Mysten Labs, the force behind Sui Blockchain, marking a significant stride towards transforming Web3 game development and the validator network. This strategic alliance brings together GREE's Singapore-based subsidiary, BLRD PTE LTD, and Sui, kick-starting an exciting new chapter in Web3.0 games development in Japan.

Sui Blockchain, a brainchild of Mysten Labs, is a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism-based blockchain with an impressive horizontally scalable architecture. This structure allows high transaction processing capabilities at minimal fees and offers an unrivaled on-chain environment for developers and creators.

Operating since 2004, GREE has been delivering cutting-edge internet solutions to make the world a better place. The firm entered the Web3.0 ecosystem in September last year, with the announcement of its blockchain games. This was followed by a token investment partnership with Oasys, a project dedicated to "Blockchain for Games," and a Web3.0 game development support program with Ava Labs.

The partnership with Mysten Labs is yet another significant stride in GREE's technological evolution. Eiji Araki, senior executive officer of GREE, believes that the blend of Mysten Labs' Web domain expertise with GREE's entertainment prowess will deliver unprecedented global entertainment.

Mysten Labs' Co-founder and CEO, Evan Cheng, is equally excited about the partnership, appreciating GREE's extensive track record in creating excellent entertainment content spanning games, anime, and the Metaverse. This synergy is poised to reshape the landscape of Web3 game development and the validator network, adding a thrilling new dimension to the world of digital entertainment.
