PancakeSwap Expands to Polygon zkEVM: A New Era for the Decentralized Exchange

PancakeSwap, a renowned decentralized exchange, goes live on the Polygon zkEVM network, offering users faster transactions and lower fees. This addition marks the DEX's fourth blockchain integration.

In a strategic move to broaden its user base and bolster protocol revenues, PancakeSwap, the renowned decentralized exchange (DEX), will now be available on the Polygon zkEVM network. The developer "Chef Cocoa" unveiled this development during a conversation with CoinDesk.

As a DEX, PancakeSwap offers a broad range of services, including trading, lending, and lottery, through smart contracts rather than intermediaries. It currently operates on three blockchains - BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Aptos. According to DefiLlama data, the protocol held more than $1.54 billion worth of tokens as of Wednesday.

By extending its reach to the Polygon zkEVM network, PancakeSwap users can now look forward to enjoying faster transactions and lower fees. This integration aligns perfectly with PancakeSwap's commitment to offer cost-efficient and swift services to its users, significantly enhancing the DEX experience.

The expansion to the Polygon zkEVM network marks PancakeSwap's fourth blockchain integration, reaffirming its relentless drive towards growth and innovation in the world of decentralized finance.
